1. Scope of this notice
This notice applies to the public PittStop marketing website, including its informational pages and interactive product demonstrations. It does not apply to a future customer application, employee workspace, administrator workspace, paid subscription, or private pilot environment. Before any of those services become publicly available, PittStop will provide the notices and terms that apply to them.
2. Information the current public site does not collect
The current public forms are closed. Because they do not accept submissions, PittStop does not store form details entered through the public marketing site. The product demonstrations use fictional people, businesses, jobs, vehicles, receipts, and work records; no account is required and no information entered into a demonstration is saved.
The public hostname does not ask for or process customer credentials, payment information, payroll records, employee records, receipt images, or work-location information. Please do not try to send that information through the marketing website.
3. Ordinary website and security processing
When a browser requests a page, ordinary hosting and security systems may process technical request information needed to deliver and protect the site. That information can include an internet address, request time, requested page, browser or device details, and standard request headers. It may be used for delivery, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and security review.
PittStop can use a limited, first-party measurement system to count public page views and selected actions such as starting or completing a demonstration, viewing pricing, or selecting a contact link. It stores daily aggregate counts by requested public path, broad source category, and broad device class. When a PittStop link contains recognized campaign labels, such as a source, medium, and campaign name, the system can also count the campaign's visits and selected actions. Unknown labels are grouped as "other" instead of being stored as submitted.
The measurement system does not store an analytics cookie, visitor identifier, email address, full referring URL, full query string, session replay, or the content of a demonstration. Internet addresses and browser user-agent strings are not written to the analytics table. A recognized campaign label may be held in browser session storage for the current tab so later demo, pricing, or contact actions can be included in that campaign's aggregate totals; it is not used to recognize a person across browser tabs or visits.
The measurement system is disabled when a browser communicates an enabled Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track preference. PittStop does not include third-party advertising pixels or cross-site analytics trackers on the public site.
PittStop does not currently sell public-site personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Exclude this browser from analytics
If you are testing PittStop, you can keep future activity from this browser out of the public website totals. The preference is stored only in this browser; PittStop does not receive a device identifier, account identifier, or IP-based exclusion. It does not remove aggregate activity already recorded.
Future public page views and selected demo actions from this browser may be added to anonymous daily totals.
This setting stays only in this browser. Set it separately on each phone, tablet, or computer you use for testing.
5. Information stored on your device
The site can save a light-or-dark theme preference and, if selected, an analytics-exclusion preference in browser local storage. If a recognized campaign link is used, the bounded campaign labels can be held in session storage for the current tab. A service worker can also cache public pages and static assets so the site loads more reliably or provides a limited offline response. These browser-managed items do not contain customer work records or a visitor identifier. You can remove them through your browser's site-data or storage controls.
6. Direct email
If you email info@getpittstop.com, PittStop and its Microsoft 365 email service process the sender and recipient addresses, message headers, message content, attachments, and routing or security information needed to deliver, screen, store, and respond to the message.
PittStop uses direct-email information to respond to the request, maintain the business conversation, prevent abuse, and meet applicable operational or legal obligations. Email is not a secure channel for passwords, employee records, payroll data, payment details, receipts, or precise work-location information, so do not include them.
7. If a public form opens later
If PittStop enables a live contact, pilot-interest, or similar form, the form may ask for a name, business name, business email, interest category, business website, company size, industry, country or state, an optional message, and communication choices. The service may also process submission time, verification status, consent choices, and limited security signals needed to prevent abuse and review the request.
A live form will explain its required and optional fields before submission. PittStop would use the information to review and respond to the request and, only when selected, to send the corresponding optional updates. Submitting a marketing form would not create a customer account. PittStop may use configured hosting, security, verification, or email-delivery providers to operate a live form.
Do not include payment data, payroll data, employee identity records, receipt data, customer credentials, or precise work-location information in a marketing form. This notice will be updated before live public intake begins if the actual collection or handling differs from this description.
8. Retention and your choices
No submitted public-form details are stored while the forms remain closed. First-party public-site analytics aggregates are retained for up to 400 days. Technical request information, email records, and browser-managed storage are retained according to the needs of the applicable hosting, security, email, and browser systems. PittStop does not state a single fixed period for all of those systems in this marketing-only notice.
You can clear theme and cache data through your browser controls. You may email info@getpittstop.com to ask about direct-email information you provided or to request correction or deletion where applicable. Some information may need to remain for security, legal, fraud-prevention, recordkeeping, or suppression purposes.
The PittStop Contact page explains the current limits of the public contact channel. Additional legally required business contact details will be published before live form intake or commercial email delivery begins.
9. Children
The public PittStop website is intended for people evaluating business software and is not directed to children. Public forms are closed, and PittStop does not knowingly solicit personal information from children through this marketing site.
10. Updates to this notice
PittStop may revise this notice as the public website changes. A revised notice will identify its effective date. Materially different customer, payment, employee-record, receipt, or location processing will require a notice appropriate to that service before it is launched.
